Cultural Explorations symposium 2026:call for submissions
The Committee is welcoming abstracts of 250 words and a biography of 50-100 words, from graduate and undergraduate honours students studying/researching in cultural studies to present at the upcoming symposium on Friday, November 27, 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for humanities students (although open to all disciplines) to practice presentation skills, showcase their research or fields of interest, and to connect with fellow students across campus. The presentation session will be held in Queen’s College (QC2013) from 9:30 am – 2:30 pm with the poster session and social from 3:00 pm – 4:30 pm in the Great Hall.
A pre-recorded presentation option is available for distant students. Additionally, tea, coffee, and light snacks will be provided throughout the day. A lunch (sandwich and fruit/veggie trays) and dinner (pizza) will also be provided.
