Job Evaluation Templates
The completed template is the foundation of the job evaluation process that defines duties, responsibilities and requirements of a position.
Memorial uses two templates:
Job Fact Sheet - for use by employees whose position is currently rated with the Aiken Plan (Bargaining, Non-Bargaining and MPS employees)
Position Description - for use by employees whose position is currently rated using the Hay Methodology (LG)
Both forms are designed to gather information specific to the position and are used to conduct the analysis of the job content. The template is completed to provide explanations and job specific examples to ensure that the position is well understood by the rater(s) and is evaluated accurately and completely. It focuses on the operational aspects of the position rather than the individual performing the work. The completed template should provide a factual, concise and complete description of the position being reviewed.
