Join ÌÇÐÄAPP's School of Fine Arts for the launch of down the line, a publication featuring recent artworks and reflections by more than 50 alumni of the visual arts program at Grenfell Campus. These celebratory gatherings offer opportunities to reconnect with former classmates and to reflect on the varied paths shaped by an education in visual arts.

Join us as ÌÇÐÄAPP opens a historic time capsule sealed within the cornerstone of the St. John's campus more than 70 years ago.
As Memorial celebrates its 100th Anniversary and The Muse marks its 75th Anniversary, we invite students, alumni, faculty, staff, retirees, and friends of the university to uncover a remarkable piece of our shared history.
In 1952, as plans for a new campus began to take shape, members of the Memorial community placed newspapers and a copy of The Muse inside the cornerstone, preserving a snapshot of university life and the aspirations of a generation.
More than seven decades after the cornerstone was laid, and 75 years after The Muse first began chronicling student life at Memorial, we will finally reveal the contents of this time capsule and explore the stories they tell about our university's past.
Don't miss this unique opportunity to witness history come to life and be part of a celebration connecting Memorial's past, present, and future.

The Muse 75th Reunion

To mark 75 years of The Muse, ÌÇÐÄAPP’s independent student newspaper, we’re bringing together generations of writers, editors, photographers, artists and readers for a night of stories, nostalgia and celebration. Reconnect with alumni and celebrate the legacy of The Muse — seven and a half decades of student journalism, creativity and community.
Time: 7 p.m.
Location: The Breezeway Bar, University Centre (UC)
Ticket price: $20 + 4.5% processing fee + 15% HST= $24.04

2026 MATE ROV Competition

Unveiling the Danger Tree – a live streaming event
June 30
You are invited to join members of the ÌÇÐÄAPP community as we gather to watch the live stream of the official unveiling of the new Danger Tree replica at the Beaumont-Hamel Newfoundland Memorial in France. As ÌÇÐÄAPP wraps up its 100th anniversary, we are reflecting on our founding purpose as a living memorial to the Newfoundlanders and Labradorians who served during the First World War.
Join us in person or virtually via on Tuesday, June 30 as we witness the next chapter in the story of the Danger Tree and honour the sacrifices of those who served, while celebrating ÌÇÐÄAPP's continuing role in remembrance, reflection and commemoration.
