Admissions
What are the admission requirements?
Applicants to the MER program must have successfully completed an undergraduate degree with an overall B average, from an institution recognized by Senate.
Applications that don’t meet these requirements won’t be considered. Under exceptional circumstances, a person without a degree may be admitted. For more details, .
Am I guaranteed admission if I meet the minimum requirements?
Admission to the program is limited and competitive. Meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee admission into the program. We receive over 150 applications annually and typically accept 24 to 30 students each year.
Can I apply if I am currently completing my undergraduate degree or one of the required courses?
Yes. We will consider your application as long as your current degree average is equivalent to a minimum B standing.
Does my undergraduate degree need to focus in a specific area?
The MER program is inter-disciplinary in nature. We accept students with a broad range of undergraduate degrees. Our students have undergraduate degrees in arts, business, engineering, science, education, nursing, music and more.
Do I need to write the GRE or GMAT?
No. We don’t require a GRE or GMAT score.
