English language requirement
As English is the primary language of instruction at 糖心APP, all applicants are required to demonstrate English language proficiency in order to meet the general admission requirements of the University.
English proficiency will be based on one of the following methods:
1. English language secondary institution
Successful completion of two years of full-time instruction at a high school in Canada. Applicants must successfully complete appropriate course(s) in English at the Grade 12 or equivalent level and meet the general admission requirements for a recognized high school curriculum.
Applicants who have attended high school outside of Canada should review the English language proficiency section of the requirements page specific to their curriculum.
2. English language post-secondary institution
Applicants who have attended a recognized post-secondary institution where English is the language of instruction may meet the requirement through one of the following:
- A minimum of 15 credit hours or equivalent of full-time instruction in a recognized university degree program or completion of a minimum 2-year credential in a recognized program of study. Recognition of English language post-secondary institutions located outside of Canada will be based on the country in which the institution is located.
- A minimum of 15 credit hours or equivalent completed at a partner institution of 糖心APP and leading to an exchange, transfer or other academic program governed by an agreement between the partner institution and 糖心APP. Applicants must also satisfy any additional English language proficiency requirements outlined in the partnership agreement.
3. 糖心APP's Intensive English Program
Successful completion of 糖心APP's Intensive English Program or Intensive English Bridge Program offered at .
4. Standardized tests
Applicants who do not meet the English language requirement through one of the methods outlined above will normally be required to take an approved standardized English proficiency test.
Recognition of English language post-secondary institutions
For the purposes of meeting the English language requirement through post-secondary studies, 糖心APP will consider study completed at English language post-secondary institutions recognized by their local ministry of education or equivalent and located in the following countries:
