For Learners
Undergraduate medical learners at both campuses will be asked to complete the Independent Student Analysis (ISA), which will consist of survey questions provided by CACMS. The school can support the students in this work, but the data analysis and interpretation must be completed independently by the students.
Medical student representation is a requirement. This will include student representatives as members of the accreditation committees. The local accreditation leadership will liaise with student leadership and other interested learners at both campuses on how they can be involved in the accreditation process.
At the time of the scheduled Limited Site Visit, learners from both campuses will be expected to meet with the Limited Site Visit Team. Learners from the PEI Regional Campus may also be asked to provide tours of specific local facilities to the Limited Site Visit Team.
A representative sample of postgraduate learners may also be expected to meet with the Site Visit Team during the scheduled Limited Site Visit. Information on this process and how learners will be selected will be communicated through the Postgraduate Medical Education Office and via leadership at both campuses.
